Broughton Angling Club was founded in 1961 and now has four well stocked and maintained waters.
What we offer
Whittlebrook is on How Clough drive in Walkden, it has large platform pegs and is reasonably flat once down the small hill to the gate.
Bowker is on a side road (dirt track) on Bowker Bank avenue, it has its own car park with steps or a ramp down to the lake.
We currently have an open membership where anyone can join online, we put trust in new members by letting them join this way all we ask is you read the rules and obey them.
Work parties are a big part of the club we run them monthly and on most Wednesdays we need as many members as possible to help. Many hands make light work.
Rules / Bye laws are very important for the club to ensure everyone enjoys their time sent on our waters.
